Remapping originally started for racing cars on the track, now from years of experience and tweaking it has become available for the general public to use to improve their own vehicles.
ECU remapping is the term used to describe the process of re-programming the ECU (Engine Control Unit) via the OBD port on your vehicle. The ECU contains software known as maps, these maps are fine-tuned by us to provide optimum engine performance in the process known as ECU remapping/tuning. All modern cars built after 1996 are fitted with an OBD II socket as standard it is this socket that is utilized to remap your car.
Remapping your car will make it drive like a different machine. Remapping your ECU will give you increased performance and greater fuel economy. As much as a 50% gain in power can be achieved, All our remaps are tailored to either optimize your engine performance, fuel economy or both depending on what your needs are.
